Content Removal

We're a platform
ScamsWorldwide hosts user reviews and displays publicly available data about businesses. We don't write the reviews. Under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (US), we're the platform, not the publisher.
What we will remove
- Provably false factual statements (not opinions)
- Copyrighted material used without permission
- Personal information like home addresses or phone numbers of individuals
- Threats, harassment, or illegal content
What we won't remove
- Negative opinions. "This company sucks" is protected speech.
- Accurate information. Domain age, SSL status, and public records stay.
- Scam scores. They're automated and based on public data.
- Reviews you disagree with. Use the reply feature instead.
Business owners: try this first
Before requesting removal, consider claiming your business and replying to reviews publicly. It looks better than trying to silence criticism, and customers appreciate businesses that engage.
How to submit a removal request
Email [email protected] with:
- The URL of the content you want removed
- Your name and relationship to the business
- What specifically is false or infringing (not just "it's negative")
- Evidence supporting your claim
We'll acknowledge your request within 3 business days and give you a decision within 10.
Don't abuse this
Filing false removal requests to silence legitimate criticism may result in your request being denied and publicly noted on the relevant business page. Play fair.
